In celebration of Black History Month, Columbus residents are heading to the restaurants.
Columbus Black Restaurant Week highlights restaurants throughout the city that are black-owned and are releasing special menus for a limited time.
The event is hoping to promote socioeconomic opportunities throughout the city.
All you have to do to participate is gather with friends, visit one of the restaurants on their list and check-in using the hashtag #cgbrw19.
Maybe you take a picture of your food and tag it with the hashtag; the possibilities of creative posts you could come up with are endless.
Using the hashtag helps event organizers keep track of everyone participating.
Columbus Black Restaurant Week kicks off on Monday, February 4 at 8:00 a.m. and runs through Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2:00 a.m.
Participating Restaurants include:
- Ed’s Country Cooking- Both Locations
