Columbus will soon be home to a new brewery!

A new brewery will soon give Columbus residents a fun option for local craft beer.

Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse plans to open a brewery and taproom at 1301 6th Avenue in Columbus.

This will be their second location, the first is located in West Point, GA. The new location will also be the second micro-brewery in Columbus. (SO COOL!)

The brewery is currently being renovated and will feature a tap room, beer garden, and on-site brewing.

Visitors will be able to sample a variety of seasonal favorites in the taproom, take a tour of the brewery, or grab a bite to eat from on-site food trucks (as they are available).

General Manager Brian Dunne says that “…customer service and friendliness are the first priority” and that “making sure customers are satisfied” is their ultimate goal.

Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse hopes to open in May, but an exact date has not been announced.
