Feed the City event kicks off at Columbus restaurant

Feed the City in Columbus kicked off at Roz’s Café and Catering Friday afternoon.

Jermaine “DJ Stone” Graham of Hot100 Columbus radio station, along with the restaurant made sure over 100 people were fed for free.

Organizers said the purpose of the event is to have something positive in the city.

“We have breath in our body and God allows us to breathe and eat. We ought to help someone else do the same thing,” said Graham.

“I want to encourage everyone the city to show love and encourage each other every day of our lives because we only have one life to live,” added Roz Murray of Roz’s Café.

Roz’s Café and Catering was the kickoff location for the event. Within the next few weeks, meals will be handed out on the street.
