Honoring prisoners of war and those still missing in action, visiting the National Infantry Museum in Columbus would be a great way to spend a few hours and learn more about POW/MIA. You can pay tribute, learn about the recovery process, and view profiles of those who gave everything for our country.

The National Infantry Museum is located just off Ft. Benning at 1775 Legacy Way in Columbus. Admission is free but donations are accepted to help sustain the mission of the museum.

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency is charged with the recovery of our lost and fallen solders, even from more than a hundred years ago. You can view more about their mission and profiles of soldiers and personnel they’ve brought home for the final time by clicking here.
