You might usually expect to see Oktoberfest in October, but Auburn is kicking the party off a little early in September.
Ag Heritage Park in Auburn is going to transform into a slice of Germany when their sights, sounds and tastes make their way to Auburn Oktoberfest’s 10th anniversary celebration.
The more than 2,000 guests can enjoy more than 150 beers from more than 75 breweries.
Food trucks with local and German foods will be on hand along with live music from Kidd Blue and a traditional Oompah band.
If the libations aren’t calling your name, or even if they are, there’s a slew of fun events for you to enjoy: keg racing, stein hoisting, Mr. & Mrs. Oktoberfest and wiener dog racing, just to name a few.
Go through your closet and find your lederhosen quick, because Auburn Oktoberfest is happening Saturday, Sept. 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tickets and hotel packages are currently on sale and can be purchased by clicking here. General admission tickets start at $40 if you buy them early. Organizers expect the festival to sell out, so they encourage you to snatch up your tickets before it’s too late.
