Wild Leap Brew Co.

Located in the heart of downtown LaGrange, GA, Wild Leap was voted the best new brewery in the U.S.! Schedule a tour of the brewery or stop by the taproom and enjoy a pint in the outdoor beer garden.

Also located in LaGrange, GA, Beacon Brewing Co. aims to not only create amazing beer but restore life to an area once flourishing with textile mill villages. BONUS – they also have a full menu so you can enjoy dinner with your beer.

Omaha Brewing Company

A family business located in Omaha, GA, Omaha Brewing Company’s slogan is small town, big beers – and they live up to it!

We suggest checking their event calendar for upcoming events or live music.

You can also enjoy food trucks each Friday and Saturday, or brown bag it and bring your own food.

Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse

With a location in West Point, GA and one coming soon in Columbus, Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse is conveniently located for all local beer lovers.

In addition to a unique beer “ATM” system that lets you serve yourself and pay per ounce for brews, Chattabrewchee is also the ONLY brewery in the U.S. owned by an active duty female soldier.

Resting Pulse Brewing Company

Located in Downtown Opelika, AL, Resting Pulse Brewery opened in 2019 with the intent of creating a place to relax, lower your heart rate, and enjoy great beer.

Keep an eye on their Facebook page for upcoming events (karaoke & trivia are a fave!) or grab a growler to enjoy later at home.

Red Clay Brewing Co.

Downtown Opelika is also home to Red Clay Brewing Co., a local hot spot with love for all things Southern and deep roots in the community.

In addition to an impressive lineup of craft brews, patrons can enjoy tasty pizzas during their visit to the taproom.

Feeling bold? Try the “Spicy Pizza Challenge”; eat an extremely spicy 12-inch pizza in 45 minutes and receive a free pizza and pint on the house. The catch? You only get (1) 4oz beer every 15 minutes of the challenge – no water!!

The Cannon Brewpub

An Uptown Columbus staple, The Cannon Brewpub is a full-service restaurant that also brews its own beer on site!

Whether you are looking for a date night, family get together, or just a drink at the bar, The Cannon Brewpub has something for everyone, including dogs (furry friends are welcome on the patio).

For non-beer lovers, the Cannon also brews its own root beer and ginger ale.

We recommend trying a grown-up root beer float, made with their homemade rootbeer with a shot of vanilla vodka. YUM!

Swamp Fox Distilling Co

Located in historic downtown Buena Vista, GA, Swamp Fox Distilling Co. is an artisanal distillery producing whiskey, moonshine, and liqueur.

Tours of the distillery are offered 6 days a week and include samples of all spirits being produced at that time, including 4 varieties of whiskey!

Richland Rum

Producers of America’s only single estate Rum, Richland Rum distills it’s award-winning rum from field to bottle in Richland, GA.

You can book a tour of the distillery online, or enjoy a “virtual” tour from the comfort of home.

P.S. former President Jimmy Carter has visited the distillery with family. WOW!

Thirteenth Colony Distilleries

Offering small batch spirits at a wallet-friendly price, Thirteenth Colony is located in the heart of Americus, GA.

Although tours are not currently offered, you can purchase their whiskey, bourbon, vodka, or gin at many local retailers.

John Emerald Distilling Company

John Emerald Distilling is a small batch craft distillery located in beautiful downtown Opelika, Alabama.

Tours are offered on the hour every Friday and Saturday and no reservation is required.

You can also enjoy cocktails made with their gin, vodka, rum, or whiskey at many local restaurants.

Nutwood Plantation Winery

Nutwood Plantation Winery is a new addition to a historic plantation in LaGrange, GA.

Nestled within a 10-acre farm, the winery features a 6,00 sq ft tasting room, full wine bar, tasty menu (cheese board anyone?!), and much more.

Stop by for a tasting and take home a bottle, or two, of your favorites.

River's Bend Winery And Vineyard

River’s Bend Winery And Vineyard is a family owned and operated vineyard located in West Point, GA.

Stop by the tasting room to sample their wide assortment of reds, whites, and sweet wines.

If you stop by in the summer, you may even be able to enjoy a refreshing wine slushie!

P.S. the vineyard has been known to invite the public to pick their own blueberries for free in the summer.

Wolf Creek Plantation

Located in Americus, GA , Wolf Creek Plantation is home to a 20-acre vineyard and winery.

Free tours and tastings are offered 6 days a week, allowing guests to sample a unique variety of wines and take a tour of the vineyards after.

Stay stocked up on your favorite wines by joining their Wine Club, offering quarterly deliveries directly to you.

P.S. Their Annual Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival is sure to be your whole family’s new favorite tradition.
